Shelly was given the Sunanezumi No Mi (or Gerbil Fruit) by her Marine Captain Mother to make her stronger and better suited for fighting, however her Mother did not know the effects it would have. Shelly's mother was furious when she realized the results and forced her daughter to train with multiple different weapons so Shelly could become a versatile marine without the use of her Devil Fruit.
Shelly can only turn into a Gerbil. She rarely uses it and when she does she has to be forced to use it. She hates the power and deems it unclassy and useless. Shelly outright refuses to show her powers to anyone and denies having them most of the time. However there are occasions when she is frightened enough she will transform automatically.

So Tokyo in Tulsa was fun until the last day. Apparently their, "Art contest," is a popularity contest. I thought it would be a fun way to meet some artists and get my art judged. BUT NO.
